Ishika Seth

Ishika’s first dance performance was with Naach when she was just five years old and she’s come a long way since then. She auditioned and joined the Bacha Emerging Performers (BEP) at eight years old where she got to perform at the San Francisco Ethnic Dance Festival, Bollywood Night at a Warrior’s Game, and the reception of Prime Minister Modi at the SAP center.

Currently, Ishika is a primary instructor and part of the Junior Emerging Performers (JEP) team at MKC. She is also a student of hip hop, jazz, and contemporary at Yoko’s Dance & Performing Art Academy in Fremont.

In her words on being an instructor, “I want to inspire others the way I was inspired by my instructors. I love seeing the kids I teach grow as people and dancers.”

When she’s not dancing—and not in school—Ishika loves to spend her time reading books, listening to music, sketching, trying out new cuisines, and traveling.
